About our Therapists:
Patrick D. Jones M.S., LCPC, LAC I have been working in the counseling profession for over thirty years now. I began in the drug and alcohol field with adolescents. I evolved to helping families of those adolescents. Eventually I was trained as a family therapist which has evolved and I now counsel teens, adults, couples and families. My ongoing emphasis has been on the need for people to develop stable relationships with first themselves, then with others. If a foundation is weak, it will not endure for long. When weakened, stress will be a source of ongoing pain and conflict. When the foundation is weak it can be strengthened by diligent and focused effort. Most often a guide is useful when trying to find the way back to oneself. Some people get so lost to oneself, they only act in life, rather than participate. This lost self leads to dependency, confusion, acting in ways that are more often harmful to the self, than not. From this place, people become demanding, controlling and dependent on others for there own personal happiness. As a counselor, I can help you find yourself again. When a person finds there way back to themselves, they are more able to think and feel their way clearly in getting there needs met. Areas of Expertise:
